An instant PDF download, sized for Letter (US), A4 (rest of the world), or print-shop with bleed. No physical items ship.
Where should I print it?+
Home printers work fine on plain letter paper. For nicer paper stock (60–80 lb text), any local print-shop can run it. For heirloom finishing (linen cover, foil stamping), see our recommended binders in the print guide below.
Hand-fill or digital fill — which is better?+
Hand-fill is the default because a pen in your family's own hand makes the book one-of-one. Digital fill exists for chapters you're reconstructing years later, or if handwriting isn't accessible to you. Both cost the same; you can mix within one book.
How do refills work?+
After your first order, we store your branch, surname and pin colors. When you PCS, deploy or promote, add a refill from your account — no re-intake, print-ready in one click.
Are the branch marks official?+
No. Every crest in the system is an original illustrative design inspired by branch identity. Official U.S. service seals are protected under 10 U.S.C. §7881 and we deliberately don't reproduce them.
